Red Fort International Public School, Rishikesh celebrated 74th Independence Day with great vigour and joy.The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Honourable chief guest Mrs.Kusum Kandwal ,State Vice-president BJP, Uttarakhand. All the invited guests saluted the National Flag with reverence and pride and sang the National Anthem.
The programs were usually conducted every year by the students of the school,but due to Covid 19 pandemic this year, the teachers presented patriotic songs, dance and skit on this occasion which was lauded by all the guests.
Sanitization was fully taken care of during the program.
This was followed by school chairman’s message to the invited guests that ” if there’s love for country in your heart then it should be chanted every moment of life that, whether I live or not my country India should live.”
The Honourable chief guest in her address inspired everyone for love of country ,she said that India’s freedom came at a cost and no one should forget the sacrifices made by our great leaders.At the end of the program school Principal Dr. Manoranjan Devrani proposed vote of thanks and thanked everyone for being there at this great occasion.School Vice-princpal and few teachers were also present .
